     <p>La parroquia San Jos\u00e9, ubicada frente a la Plaza de Constituci\u00f3n, en la regi\u00f3n del Maule. Fue erigida en el siglo XIX, comenzando su construcci\u00f3n en 1803, siendo fundada el 07 de febrero de 1833, su estructura es de alba\u00f1iler\u00eda de\n                      ladrillos, adobe, madera, fundaciones de piedra y en estilo neocl\u00e1sico, tiene una planta de tres naves, siendo la nave central m\u00e1s alta que las laterales, destacando enormes columnas toscanas de madera. En 1835, el terremoto y maremoto,\n                      destruy\u00f3 la ciudad y el templo, siendo reconstruido, bendecido y entregado a la comunidad en 1867. En 1916 pasa a depender de la Gobernaci\u00f3n Eclesi\u00e1stica de Chill\u00e1n. Y en 1925, es incorporada a la naciente Di\u00f3cesis de San Ambrosio\n                      de Linares. En febrero de 2010, nuevamente la ciudad y el templo sufrieron graves da\u00f1os con el terremoto y tsunami, del 27\/F. Pero pronto la iglesia fue nuevamente restaurada, conservando su dise\u00f1o original, acogiendo a la comunidad\n                      en sus diversas celebraciones, conservando su estatus de lugar de oraci\u00f3n, reflexi\u00f3n y cultura para los habitantes de la ciudad costera de Constituci\u00f3n.
